Candice Palea

Owner / Director of Operations and Sports Performance

Candice is a native of Waterloo, IA and graduated from Waterloo East. She continued her volleyball career at the University of Northern Iowa where she was a defensive specialist, that started as the Libero her last 3 seasons. Candice is currently ranked 4th in All Time Career Digs for the UNI panthers. She was also recently inducted into the Waterloo East High School Athletic Hall of Fame. During and after college, she dedicated some of her time to coaching. Passing along the skills and passions she has for the game to upcoming volleyball athletes. Candice coached at the high school, club and collegiate level. Candice took a small break from coaching to earn her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy for Creighton University. Candice works at Blanks Children's hospital and currently resides in Waukee, IA. Within RVA she focuses on physical player development and volleyball mechanics for defense. She is currently the head coach at Waukee High School and is the mother to Kainalu(4), Kekoa(2) Palea and wife to KK Palea.
